Carved rather than faceted, this iolite takes on a more diffuse, matte-like surface with a cool violet-blue tone.
At 11.94 carats, this loose iolite gemstone carving features a radial floral motif, with shallow relief carving, visible internal structure, and striking color zoning. This would be beautiful set, or sewn onto a garment as a decorative button or brooch.
